We’ll work with you to diagnose the specific condition you’re facing and create an individualized treatment plan, but chances are, we’ll be working to treat one of these common issues:

• Spacing: Occurs when there’s too much room in the dental arch for the teeth, causing gaps between the teeth.
• Crowding: The most common reason for braces. Crowding occurs when there isn’t enough room in the dental arch for all the teeth, resulting in crooked, misaligned teeth.
• Overbite: Overbite happens when the upper front teeth extend too far out beyond the lower teeth. In extreme cases, this may cause the lower teeth to bite into the roof of the mouth.
• Underbite: The opposite of overbite, this happens when the lower front teeth extend out past the upper front teeth.
• Overjet: Also called protruding front teeth, this occurs when the upper front teeth stick out at a forward angle and extend too far beyond the lower teeth. We’ll often correct this through early orthodontic treatment to prevent chipping or damage to the teeth.
• Crossbite: Crossbite happens when the lower teeth sit outside the upper teeth, impairing jaw growth and potentially causing tooth stratification.
• Mismatched Dental Midlines: This malocclusion occurs when the back bite doesn’t develop properly. If left untreated, it can impair jaw and bite function.
